The Final Expedition
A downloadable game for Windows
You play as an expeditionary hired by a private research company. Your missions come from various scientists who rely on eyewitness reports to track strange creatures seen across different biomes — forest, plains, jungle, mountains, desert, and swamp.
Each quest is based on vague descriptions: things like “sharp horns,” “glowing eyes,” or “it was hiding near the river.” Using only that, you must locate and bring back the correct alien specimen.
At first, you don’t understand what’s going on. But after your first mission, it becomes clear — aliens and mutant animals are roaming the world. Scientists confirm your suspicion, and your true task begins: hunt and return different alien types based on field reports.
In exchange, scientists provide blaster charges, which are effective only against aliens — not mutants. Mutant animals exist to confuse you. They're exotic and often resemble aliens. Since you only get vague clues, you'll need to judge carefully. Mistakes can be fatal.
There’s also a hunter’s shack in the forest biome where you can sell mutant animal hides in exchange for supplies: food, water, traps, machetes, flashlights, etc. Alien hides go to the scientists for progress. Animal hides go to the hunter for survival.
You're not a biologist. You can't tell aliens from exotic wildlife at first glance. But to stop the threat, you'll need to gather enough energy from alien specimens — and eventually shut the portal.
